During the past decade, there has been a big trend toward “coaching”: executive coaching, career coaching, business coaching, life coaching, health coaching, etc. There is a lot of misunderstanding about what coaching is, and what it isn’t.

Jason has particular expertise in teaching non-technical executives how to understand and speak with technical people. Many workplace environments don’t value technical opinions, and to be honest this is at least sometimes caused by technology staff. Jason has a true technical background, but has also worked with many business groups including C-suite management, marketing, sales, finance, and operations. Jason has supervised a staff of over 2,000, directly managed 20 programmers at a time, and led individual project teams of three to ten technical workers.
